A Message from the President: Why Moapa Valley is a special place to play football…
In my experience as a high school varsity football coach, it is very rare to find a football team outside of this valley that has played together longer than the players on our team. Here in Moapa Valley our athletes have the unique opportunity of playing as a team for six years prior to them entering their freshman year of high school. By the time an MV athlete reaches their senior year, they have been playing the game with the same kids for the better part of 9 years! The team chemistry and camaraderie that that creates is invaluable. That is one of the main reasons why Pirate football has been successful as it has been for so many years.
-Shane Hickman, Coach & District President
